What is Vegan?

"Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.”

Why be vegan?

Veganism is a lifestyle and dietary choice that seeks to avoid the use of animal products for food, clothing, or any other purpose. This means abstaining from consuming meat, dairy, eggs, and other animal-derived ingredients and opting instead for fruit, vegetables, grains and nuts. Veganism extends beyond just dietary preferences and often includes a commitment to avoiding products such as leather, wool, silk, and cosmetics tested on animals. People choose veganism for various reasons, including ethical concerns about animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and health benefits.Veganism stands against any animal cruelty and the use of animals for our entertainment. It is their life, not ours; their body, not ours. Animals deserve peace just like us!
